We took Kylea to the park last weekend to go fishing & visit the ducks and she LOVED it! She's just like Jon when it comes to nature...she'll touch any slimy, creepy, crawly thing she finds!

Happy Anniversary Jonnie!

We made it 4 years and we're still going strong! It all started almost 8 years ago during our freshman year at BYU-Hawaii and we've been inseparable ever since. :) I am so incredibly blessed to be married to such a wonderful man who is an amazing husband and father. Love you babe!

Cute Portrait

This portrait looks exactly like Kylea when she was a year old so I just had to post a pic and brag about it (I can do that because I didn't draw it. Our good friend, Melissa Wolf, is the amazing artist!)



She sneakily snapped a pic of one of the photos we have hanging up in our house and drew it for us. It looks really cute in Kylea's room and she was very excited when we hung it up. She points to it and says "Ea" (that's how she says her name!).

Aaron & Drew are here!

We are so excited to have family out here in Virginia with us! Drew moved out here a couple months ago to start nursing school at VCU and Aaron flew out here this past weekend after finishing up school at BYU. They moved into our neighborhood so we're really excited for Kylea to get to know her uncle and auntie better. They took us out to eat at Red Robin (one of our favorite restaurants!) and my camera died after one crummy pic so that's all you get for now, but I'm sure there will be many more to come. Thanks again Aaron & Drew! Love you guys!

More Fun Times in May

This was the ultimate beach vacation! We went to North Carolina with 7 other families for a week and stayed in a really nice beach house. It was so nice to just kick back and relax and be beach bums again. Kylea absolutely loved being able to wake up each day and have breakfast with her buddies. She loved everything about the beach...the sand, shells, wind, crabs, being buried and even the cold ocean water. We had so much fun with everyone! We're already looking forward to the next beach vacation! We took too many pics to post so check out our Picasa slideshow for more! :) We had a lot of great beach and pool seshes!Every night was game night with lots of great peeps and eats! :) The kids had lots of fun running around and playing together too! FYI: We're drinking root beer (thanks Olsens!)...don't get any scandalous ideas now! ;)

Fun Times in May

Maymont Park is a really amazing place. It's beautiful land with lots of cool exhibits, trails, animals...goats, chickens, donkeys, peacocks, buffalo, turtles, otters (just to name a few). Jon and Rudy took the kids there and then we went back as a family.
Kylea and her goat buddy. Jon showed me these pics after I got back from getting my hair done and I freaked out when I saw how close he let her get to the goats. One of them even butted her on the head!!!
We took the kids to Kangaroo Jacks (an indoor, bouncy playground) for Tucker's 2nd birthday and the boys (Tucker, Jon & Rudy) loved it! Kylea was definitely not a fan. She got really scared, which is so unlike our little dare devil...so she played on a plastic tree instead(the only nonbouncy thing there!).
Dance Dance Revolution with the Wolfs! Boy is it embarrassing getting showed up by a pregnant woman, haha! Those two (Rudy & Melissa) are amazing dancers! :)

Visit to VCU

We went to VCU to check out Jon's school and for an ortho appt. Yep, I'm getting braces for the second time! :( Everyone there spoiled Miss Kylea with a balloon, stickers and a blow up tube of toothpaste! We are so proud of Jon and excited that he is starting his 3rd year of dental school! He's working on patients now so if you need any work done, come on over and he'll take care of you! :)
