Funniest Thing!

 

I went into the kids' room to check on them at naptime and I couldn't find Kylea anywhere. Then I heard heavy breathing coming from a mound of a scrub top and couldn't believe what I saw. Kylea was sleeping inside of one of Jon's scrub tops. Her whole body was squished inside of it and she was fast asleep! Too funny!

Crack up!

 

Kylea continues to crack us up every day and Kade is always cracking up all day long. He's such a happy little guy. It's fun to see him laugh and play with Kylea now. We are so blessed to have such great kiddos!
Here's a conversation between Jon and Ea last night after she kept getting out of her bed...
Jon: "Kylea, didn't you hear what I told you about staying in your bed? It's bedtime. Where are your listening ears? Did you lose them at preschool today?"
Ea: "No, I didn't lose them Daddy. They are just broken. They don't work anymore."
Haha, that explains why she has such a hard time listening to me all day. I guess I know what she's getting for Christmas...a pair of new listening ears!

Fun at the Park!

 

 

 

 

Kylea LOVES going to the park (which is only a few minutes from our new home here in St. Louis) and she can't get enough of her new buddies, Carson & Cami. Their daddy is in the same orthodontic residency as Jon and they live in the same complex as us so it has been super fun hanging with them! They are the cutest little kids and their mama is an amazing photographer! Thanks for snapping these cute pics Danica!

Ea Ballerina

 

One of Kylea's favorite things to do is DANCE! She loves dressing up in tutus and can't wait for Tuesday nights because she gets to go to her Tiny Tots Dance & Tumbling class at the community center. She is fun to watch! P.S. I made her heart leg warmers with help from a friend, Miss Danica (aka Craft Queen) and I love how they turned out. Yes Mom, I actually used a sewing machine, ha! ;)
Her dance class got to be in a parade a few weeks ago and I got to be in it too...yahoo! It was a super hot and humid day and we walked/danced for 2 miles, but it was fun!

He Sure is Handy!

 

 

Not only does he straighten teeth, but he also fixes car windows! That's right...Jon spent Saturday taking off the inside of the car door and using my makeup mirror to look inside & reconnect the motor to the rear window. His dental skills came in handy for this technique. :)
I must admit I had no faith in him fixing it because seriously who knows how to fix the window on a 1999 Toyota Camry or any car?! Kylea had fun being the assistant and after 3 hours of hard work and several bleeding wounds (poor Jon!) the window is fixed! Yay! No more ghetto tape holding it up, which I actually preferred over the black trash bag technique that was first used to stop the rain.
Thanks Babe for fixing the window and proving me wrong! Put that on the list of times you were right...I think that's #3! Not bad for 6 years of marriage! Haha! Love you Babe!
