Kylea's Preschool Christmas Concert

Kylea and her classmates did a great job making us laugh during this concert.
They were all so cute up there singing and remembering all the actions that they had been practicing.

Good times together...

Celebrating Ea's 5th Birthday

Painting Pumpkins & Fun at the patch

Love mornings like this...

Sweet Ea girl made me a "Special Mom's Day" breakfast the other day and it made me smile. My favorite part was the napkin. :) She loves making sweet notes for people to find around the house. I found one taped to my pillow last night. Some other creative spots we've found them are: taped to the shower curtain, Kade's crib, my makeup case, mirrors, shoes,... I hope she never gets tired of making them because we never get tired of finding them. She's such a sweet girl!

Kylea's Pinkalicious 5th Birthday!

Delivering her invites and pinkalicious cookies with her new princess scooter

I seriously can't believe my little Ea girl is already 5! We had so much fun planning her Pinkalicious party together, her and I. She's quite the party planner these days. She did let me surprise her with a lot of the decor and games though and she even kept her eyes closed when it came time to take the cake out of our fridge and bring it over to the clubhouse. She anxiously waited for her party to start while helping Jon blow up tons of pink and green balloons. :)
Kylea is such a smart, loving, sassy, beautiful girl and we are SO blessed to have her in our family. We love you Ea girl!

Pink tutus for the girls and green capes for the boys

Activities/Games: coloring, decorating paper cupcakes with stickers, Pinkalicious Bingo, Pin the Cherry on the Cupcake, pass around the cupcake bean bag, and a Pinkalicious cupcake pinata, of course!

We are so lucky to have so many great friends here to celebrate with! Thanks again to all these lovely ladies who helped make this party pinkatastic! ;) (And Danica, for the amazing pics once again!)

Poor Bubs

So after I finished getting dressed, I came downstairs to Kade wearing this cute, little fairy outfit and trying as hard as he could to get it off. I had to run and get the camera because it was just too funny. Kylea likes to play "dress up Kade."

Silly Bubs

Kade is such a funny little guy, always making us laugh. He loves to play dress up with his big sister, hence the glasses and he is talking a lot these days.

Some of his favorite words and sounds are: ball, baby, shoes, go, car, eye, amen after prayers, hi, ciao (he learned this from our Brazilian neighbors), nana (banana), binkie (yes, he still has one!), step (he loves to go up and down the stairs), Elmo, Dada, Ea, Mommy, here ya go, Where'd it go?, neow (not sure why it's not meow:), vroom vroom, choo choo, and ahhh ahhh (his duck noise). Oh and poop...yes, he tells us when he has gone #2.

Some other things about Bub are: he dances when the vacuum is on, loves cars, trains, motorcycles, airplanes..., sticks, doesn't like nursery or getting his diaper changed, loves "nanas", shoes, books about animals, playing outside, watching Super Why (and saying the letters), wrestling, snuggling, and giving hugs and kisses.

We love our sweet boy!

Ea's 1st Day of Preschool

Kylea goes to preschool now, 2 days a week in the afternoon, and she loves it! She got to pick out a new Tinkerbell backpack and is having fun making new friends. When we went to the Open House she asked me if I was going to stay with her. I told her that I was going to stay for that day, but that she would have to stay by herself when school started the next day. I was expecting her to say that she wanted me to stay, but nope...the complete opposite. She said (in a nice way), "Ok good because I don't want you to stay because I'm big enough to go to school by myself now." Ummm, and then I cried the whole way home. I can't believe how fast she has grown up and how independent she has become. Not sure what I'm going to do next year when kindergarten comes. But I'm glad that she's loving school! Oh and let me explain the last pic...when she got home from her 1st day of school, she had a meltdown because she was so tired and after spending some time in her room, I came up and found her asleep in the corner. :)
